You gave us your details to hold an early access spot. Here is exactly what we do with them — in plain language, no legal maze.
What We Collect
This page does one thing: it holds a spot for you on our early access list. The only information we collect is what you type into the form: • Your name and email address. • Your phone number, if you choose to give it — this field is optional and leaving it blank does not affect your place on the list. • Your business name, if you sign up as a business owner. • The neighborhood or area you're in, so we know which market to open near you. • Any message you choose to write us. We also collect basic, anonymous traffic data (page views, referring site, approximate country) so we know how many people are finding this page.
How We Use It
• To email you when early access opens in your area, and to send you the invite. • To decide which neighborhoods to open first. • To reply to you if you asked us something in the message field. • To call or text you about your early access spot, only if you gave us a phone number. That's the whole list. We don't use your details for anything else while we're in early access.
What We Don't Do
• We don't sell your information. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone. • We don't add you to unrelated marketing lists. • We don't share your details with other businesses on the list. • We don't track you across other websites.
Who Can See It
Your details are visible to our own team, and to the service providers who host our site and deliver our email. Those providers are contractually required to protect your data and may not use it for their own purposes. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How Long We Keep It
We keep your early access details until you ask us to remove them, or until 24 months after launch if you never activate your invite — whichever comes first. Then we delete them.
Your Choices
Every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list entirely. You can also email admin@buildstory.studio at any time to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. We'll action deletion requests within 30 days.
Changes
If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant and you're already on the list, we'll email you about it.
